Keeping Track Of Maintenance?
How do your writers keep track of scheduled maintenance. Over the years this is something we've really struggled with. Taking every invoice and looking up what maintenance is due and then looking through history can be very time consuming. What processes do you have in place to keep track of them. W...

Re: Oil Change Stickers
Our oil supplier used to supply us with a printer and stickers for nothing. We had such a issue with it messing up all the time and techs spending so much time printing stickers that we bought one from Bolt On and set it up. The printer is a Dymo 450 and it was only $99 so it was cheap. The cost of ...

Re: Digital Inspection Branding - XOXO Car vs Your Shop
I called my Bolt On rep on this shortly after I heard this and did some research. I think Bolt On is overstepping their bounds by starting this XoXo thing. I don't want my customers"Tossing their keys to a xoxo shop" as their website says. I want them tossing their keys to "Ness Auto Sales and Servi...

Horizons Dashboard
I just saw the new horizons dashboard info. I'm sure this is another addon from Bolton. Anyone know how much it costs? Also is there a screen for the techs to watch. It would be interesting to have the techs be able to see their production on a daily basis.

Re: Inspections Help Improve Average RO
I have to agree and disagree on that. I'm sure you've had customers in the past make the arguement that it doesn't . And I have to agree a digital inspection itself doesn't increase your aro. However it does assist in helping you follow processes.

Options For Loaner Cars - 2nd scheduler?
We have 6 techs and 6 loaner cars. Currently we run the techs on the scheduler only. My thoughts were to add 6 new techs and name them after the loaner cars so we could schedule them too. The only problem is with 12 items on the scheduler it makes them so small you can't read any of them. Has anyone...

Scheduler Reoccuring event
We have our techs work every other saturday. Is it possible to put a reoccuring event say for every other saturday. I'd like to mark which techs work each saturday and just have it repeat every other saturday. That way the writers have it handy which techs are working each saturday.

Re: Work Carryover From One Day To The Next?
We really like the new scheduler. It saves alot of time. It's actually exactly what we were doing with calanders manually. Theres a few work arounds we've had to do...but so far we've figured out how to accomplish about everything. This was one of the last things that we had to do. My only complaint...

Work Carryover From One Day To The Next?
If you schedule a job for one day and it doesn't get done. We need to schedule a spot to finish it the next day. Is there a way to schedule another appointment the next day and still leave the original marking spot in the scheduler? We'd like to still have the original time documented for when we wo...

Scheduler Time Increments
On the scheduler it's defaulted to 1 hr grids. You can change it by right clicking on the side bar and changing it. However, when you close the scheduler it defaults back to the hour increment. Is there any way to make the half hour increment a default?

Re: Scheduler 7.0.3 Update
I saw someplace that in the future we'll be able to colorcode appointments on the schedule. For instance highlight in yellow when the car is at the store, orange when it's in a bay, grey when done. Can you tell me if this is in any of the versions coming out? This is a needed feature before we can r...
