Re: Received PO - On Order Unchanged?
The process was Inventory>Purchase Order>Add>Add. Type part number in P/N field. Mitchell auto fills the rest. Overwrite quantity suggested but did not change any pricing. Did this for 15 items. P.O. to store and order to us worked as expected. Only difference was "On Order" did not clear to zero.

Re: Received PO - On Order Unchanged?
This was an unusual procedure. Our supplier has a "special price" on some items that we have in our inventory. I manually opened a blank P.O. and entered each part number individually. As they are stocked parts, all the fields were populated upon entering the 15 part numbers. The P.O. was sent to th...

Received PO - On Order Unchanged?
I just received a stock order for wiper blades. I ordered via P.O. and received parts using receive all button. When checking Inventory list I discovered that the QOH was updated but the parts on order did not clear. Having the parts on order will of course delay ordering parts in the future as it w...

According to AllData, the evaporative system monitors will not complete if the outside temperatures are below 40 deg F. I don't know what the weather is like downstate, but in the Chicago area it has been near zero for some time now.

Thanks to all who replied. Silky7 had the solution. Would love to see the "clear catalog data button" installed in 6.4!

Re: Catalog Data
Rich,
Sounds like you are referring to the online version of ProLink. My problem is with the version that is integrated into Mitchell.

Catalog Data
I seem to remember reading a post about my problem, but I couldn't find it using "search". I have a vehicle that was entered into the system as a V6 when it has a 4 cyl. I corrected the engine listed, but the ProLink catalog retains the V6 engine and shows parts for the V6. I remember in 5.9 we coul...

Re: Toyota Clutch Switch Diode
Ric,
If you can't find a Toyota part, here is a website that will help you calculate the ratings to select a diode and pick one up at Radio Shack.

Hope this helps,

Re: PARTS ORDERED TAGS
I use NAPA ProLink most of the time and after ordering the parts, they stay listed in the parts ordering screen. This has been reported and Tim has brought the issue to support. Hope to hear something soon.

Re: R.O. Double Sided Printing?
We have been experiencing the same thing on our Brother 5370DW laser printer. I discovered that if you check the "default print to screen" box, the printer handles the paper normally. If that box is unchecked, then the printer pushes out a blank sheet, pulls it back in again, and then prints the inv...

Re: Items That Need To Be Fixed In SE
Tim,
I placed an order this morning with an Activant vendor and the parts disappeared from the P.O. as it normally did in 5.9. I think you are on to the cause. I also tried the AC Delco version and that also worked as expected. The issue seems to be limited to ProLink. What do I do now?

Re: Items That Need To Be Fixed In SE
Tim,
99% of the time I use NAPA Prolink to order parts. I will try another vendor tomorrow and let you know what happens.
P.S. I agree with Rich in that I often loose work because our Gremlin needs to look at a ticket while I am trying to complete the ticket for a waiting customer.

Parts Ordered - Parts Needed List Not Updating?
In 5.9, we would place an online order, and the the parts would no longer be visible on the P.O. unless we checked the "Show All Parts" box. This helped us to know that the parts were indeed ordered. In 6.4, the parts remain listed in the P.O. after placing the order so there is no visible cue that ...
