Activant issues
I had to install my server on another machine due to hard drive failure, when tech support remoted in and installed for me it was the latest version. After that i was having issues when i would try to look up or order parts. When back on phone with TS and they were remoted in he informed me that hav...

Activant issues
Is anyone else having issues with the activant catalogs? I am getting an error saying "no internet connection, or remote server failed to respond" about 70% of the time. When this happens i can still access everything else so I know it is not an actual internet connection issue on my end.

Re: 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Rotor Removal
Looks like the .8 includes more than just remove and replace. rotor.png Remember, it's only a guide. Had a customer come back the day after I replaced a wheel bearing on the rear of some late model GM car, don't remember what kind. He was all kinds of upset cause he said I "misled" him on the invoi...

Re: 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Rotor Removal
I have seen this on these as well. I just charge 1.0 for rotor R&R, which is normal for a hat style rotor with no caliper bracket in the way.....motley06 wrote:stand alone. 1.6 just to remove rotors seems excessive to me

2006 Chrysler 300 - PCM Connector Issues
I have two 06 300s in the shop right now, both came from other shops ( not the same one ), one is 3.5 the other a 6.1, both have ETC issues. When driving it will set a code for the throttle. Both shops tried a new throttle body with now luck. I have determined that the connector pins for the PCM con...

One other thing to ponder is that you can create a canned job for the operation and have it readily available when you need to use it.

Re: 2011 Ford E350 5.4 Hard starting when cold
What exactly is it doing? Does it blow black smoke, foul the plugs, or just won't start? When it won't start, what do you do to make it start? Have you checked fuel quality? How is the throttle body, is it coked up? Also, I would check what the alcohol content reading is, if it higher then actual co...

Lisle makes one that is a tube about 18 inches long that has four different crows foot wrenches that fit over the flats on the tie rod, then the tube goes over that and engages two ears on the crows foot. wrench to turn it

I have to chime in here. Been on the phone for a total of over three hours today just trying to change my spotify account to a family account through sprint. Have talked to three different people that can not speak clear English. Is it too much to ask for Mitchell people to run around and answer the...

Re: 2000 Olds Bravada - Runs Rough Until...
One other thought I had is to turn the switch on and let the blower come up to speed and then start truck and see what happens, I might even use a remote starter button to crank it over just make sure I didn't reset the blower during cranking when that circuit loses its power feed in the crank posit...

Re: 2000 Olds Bravada - Runs Rough Until...
Does it do it the blower turned off? It might not be related at all, I have seen pressure regulators act like this when they have a leak and let extra fuel into the intake. It the truck has auto air the blower starts slow then ramps up to speed. If it is not, I would check the voltage to the blower ...

Re: Record Lock options?
So this "user issue" keeps happening. How much would it cost for a hack, um i mean "fix", that when someone leaves an RO open on their monitor for a set amount of time, say 5 minutes, and that RO has zero activity on the machine, that something is triggered. That machine is locked and to unlock it ...

Re: Why force price check before ordering?
One thing to add is that not all the vendors require you to price check first. we use OR, ADV, and AZ. AZ and OR make us price check first, ADV, we can order without price check. This has led me the just believe that this is a vendor decision for this requirement.
