Re: Recommendation management
There is in Report Pro, you will also need Microsoft Excel or similar. Under the Marketing section in the reporting list, look for "Export Recommendations". Click on the report, set the desired date range in the lower left and then generate the report by clicking on the button to the right of the S...

"...mappable is not a massive task. We made a small tool to accomplish this in about 45mins." Can you tell me more? JD We compared SM.RepairOrderStatus.RepairOrderStatusId to SM.ScheduleStatus.StatusId to make a map in lieu of a sync tool. It watches SM.BOT_RepairOrderStatus.StatusDescription for c...

No worries, SKLINE17, I've found some workarounds, but thanks for the offer, I do appreciate it.

Re: Scheduler Feedback & Requests
Here's my two and a half cents: Like oil is to a car, our scheduler is to us, it’s our lifeblood... Our whole world was turned upside down last Thursday, when we downloaded the latest version of ShopKey. We are a small shop, just three of us (two techs and me). Even though I do most of the schedulin...

Re: Tips To Make This Scheduler Work
So there are 2 parts, the time the people are supposed to show up, and how long we estimate their vehicle to be in the shop. So If I schedule six 4 hour appointments in the morning everything gets so narrow I can't tell who it is, or what it is for. It is impossible to determine, at a glance how ma...

Re: SE 7.0 Scheduler Workflow
I love the new scheduler. Works very well for us. We have 3 techs, 1 general service tech, myself and another owner, a service writer and an assistant service writer. Now I know the scheduler is not perfect by any means, but I would pick this any day over the old one. It helps know what each person...

Yes, go to history, double click on the invoice you want. Go to Report Pro, select the invoice you want to use, click "Reload" if necessary - voila!

Average Cost
Can someone explain to me how "Average Cost" comes about in inventory? Whenever I add to inventory, and put in the "Last Cost" amount, I would assume it would average out what we've paid in the past, to what we paid on this last order (maybe factoring in quantities???). Well, it's not working that w...

Re: Looking For User Feedback On Report Pro & Lube Pro
Gonna take a little getting use to, you do have to make a couple extra clicks, but we WILL be using their invoices. Just bought an HP Laserjet for the counter, so we can print them in color. I have the same printer for my workstation, as I do all of CRM in-house, but I thought it would be a PITA to ...

Re: Looking For User Feedback On Report Pro & Lube Pro
We too have Lube Sticker Pro, Message Manager Pro & Report Pro - LOVE THEM!!!!!!!!! We're taking it slow and steady, to make sure we get the most out of the products, so we still have more to learn and implement. As stated, the online training is great, and when needed (like this morning) they will ...

Re: 2001 Camry 4-2.2L - Stalling at idle
Makes perfect sense. The evap purge was allowing raw fuel into the mix during a purge event. The engine stalled as this should only be vapor and was unable to handle it. No codes because the engine stopped running before it new what happened. But, they did get the car to run for some extended perio...

Re: 2001 Camry 4-2.2L - Stalling at idle
I'll never have time to have this fully explained to me, so that I can understand and write it up, so here's what our new tech wrote on the RO: "Performed visual and electronic check of all applicable systems. Using real time data to map the input and control functions of the PCM (engine's brain), n...

Re: 2001 Camry 4-2.2L - Stalling at idle
Techs tell me they don't remember exact long and short term fuel trim readings, but they definitely were normal. We replaced the coolant temp sensor. First thing we do on a vehicle like this, with this symptom is unplug the EGR (even I know that  ) and although it still stalled after unplug...

Re: 2001 Camry 4-2.2L - Stalling at idle
The most common things we see are map sensors or map sensor vac lines and coolant temp sensors. What are the fuel trims? Is it running rich. Why were the other items replaced? What is the temp reading on gauge versus the computer? Im willing to help but ill need more info. Okay, since starting all ...

Re: 2001 Camry 4-2.2L - Stalling at idle
Ha, I was planning to post on this sometime today, so I guess now is as good as ever. We are $#&*ing stumped. It sat all last week (our lead tech, Mark was on vacation), but prior to that, they increased duty cycle of the IAC, which seemed to make a difference... for a while. They really thought the...
