Report of Canned Job
Pardon my ignorance folks. I have a canned job that I use quite frequently and would like to get a report of its usage ever since I began using it. When I go into Reports and Canned Jobs, it gives me the message that this report is only available in "Canned Jobs In Quick Menu. So, I go to that and i...

Including Build Date
Under a vehicle information, is there a way to include the build date for it? We have other pertinent information like VIN, Registration, State, GVW and the list goes on but I'd like to include a vehicles build date so that when I go to order a part and I am asked what the production date is, I have...

Re: Non-Inventory Part Charge
Hello, You can manually add a part for dye/oil or anything else you don't actually have an inventory record for. Then you can use a combination of the Materials Used reports and Part Number Search (both under Management reports) to show how many times you've used a particular part. That is what I'd...

Non-Inventory Part Charge
At the risk of exposing my ignorance, I am looking for a way to list non-inventory parts and then track them. Is there any way to do this? As an example, when I do an air conditioning job, I typically like to charge for the dye and oil that is used however, the physical amount is not always the same...

Re: Persmissions by position
I know they had talked about a update. But is there any way to set the permissions for what a tech can do? and what a service writer can do? Here in our shop, it would be very nice if this could be done. The drawback that I see would be that a person would need to log in or somehow identify himself...

Re: Tech support rant - apologies in advance.
[quote It would be nice to be able to archive the messages to the customer record in some way - just to be able to access it in the event there is confusion at a later date. A general archive would soon be cluttered with a tremendous amount of conversations and become a burden. [/quote] Excellent id...
