We now have gone several days without an issue of the WIP columns coming back and being all mixed up. The longest since a prior update. It has been a relatively easy week. Hope this pattern continues next week.
Thanks guys!

Re: Update 8.5.02
Sadly one of my workstations reset the WIP to default as well. This was the host machine. Manager was running. No other machines had that user applied. Simply reset when I wasn't looking. At the risk of revealing my ignorance, it would seem to me that someone could go into the data logs of my compu...

Re: Update 8.5.02
Ok, so I down loaded the update. Did a backup on the system. Restarted my computer. Started the other work stations. And guess what? I still have the same issue I had before the update. I can "hide" the columns in the WIP screen that I do not want, do not need, or ask for. Will be that way for abou...

Re: Update 8.5.02
How can I get the download for beta testing? I'll begin this process as soon as I can get it loaded on my computer.

Re: Repairlink Ads
I have similar ads, yea, I recognize them. I am extremely annoyed and irritated. I am not a computer junkie. I go online, do my thing and leave. I HATE the ads. But, this kind of stuff will likely only worsen as time goes on. If it gets to a point where I can't handle the ads and they cannot be remo...

Re: Repairlink Ads
Anyone else noticing more ads in Repairlink catalog. Use to be just a header now it is header footer and sides. Anyone know away to block it from loading ads? I noticed this also. I get very annoyed by ads. I do not want them neither do I need them. Please address this issue. Seems that the program...

Re: Update 8.5.02
We're working through the update to address these issues now. We're being extra diligent in testing and ensuring everything is functioning. The last thing we want to do is rush this and find out these issues persist. With that said, does anyone on this thread want to join Ric in our beta testing gr...

Can I change "Work Completed" Date?
When I print an invoice, I am wanting at times to change the "WORK COMPLETED" date. Is that possible? If so, how do I do it?

Re: Update 8.5.02
Forget about trying to fix it. Until Mitchell comes up with the next upgrade, this seems to be what we are obligated to put up with. No options.Robin at Robs wrote: ↑Thu Dec 29, 2022 1:30 pmfollowing..my WIP is also messed up, just looking options to try and fix it

Re: Update 8.5.02
Again, after working ok for a few days, my WIP screen iis back to its many many columns of unwanted and unneeded stuff. Very irritating. The fix cannot come too soon.

When these issues become resolved, there will be some, perhaps many THANK YOU's for the upgrade! I will be one of them.

Re: Update 8.5.02
This morning al my setting on the WIP screen are lost. I've corrected it at least 4 times, shutting the splash screen down each time. that is doing nothing. I changed everything again, & it reverted back to its original setup NOT the way I changed it or want it. It's doing this all by itself, no on...

Re: ePart Not Working Since 8.5.0.2 Update
ePart works fine when using through a browser but still doesn't work correctly when going through TeamWorks. When you click on a part category it just does nothing. Again, not sure if this is ePart or a Mitchell thing but it does work outside of TW. Yea, same thing with us. Ya know, at the risk of ...

Re: Update 8.5.02
Ok, so I spoke too soon. This afternoon, I opened up the shop management system and - the WIP screen has every column again. It worked for a few days but now I am back to my frustration again. Even if I try rearranging the columns and let them all there, within a short time, it goes back to default ...

Re: Update 8.5.02
UPDATE: Ok...I just tried the workaround on ordering columns and closing program with just a few changes. Re-opened SE and it held the column order as I had tried. So I decided to re-order and resize all my columns to my liking. But before I could close the program, it reverted back to the first sa...

Re: Update 8.5.02
My WIP resorted itself today after being OK for a couple of days. I made sure I was logged in. I resorted it and within a short time frame it did it again. I resort it on the main computer with others off I then close and restart Mitchell. This is the correct procedure right? Is this a known proble...

Re: Update 8.5.02
FYI - another method to remove columns is to click on the Columns button at the bottom of WIP. It opens a box and you can drag unused columns into the box. Drag it back out if you ever want to restore a column. columns.png Yes well, I tried that and it failed miserably to my frustration. Now, after...

Re: Update 8.5.02
Do you have multiple workstations? If so, are they running the same user? (this can be checked by the user at the bottom right of the Management Software) If the users are the same or multiple stations have the same user, close ALL machines running SE, open one station, make the changes for the col...
