How do you enter multiple P#### codes?

Back a few Snap on scanners ago the Tech could send a list of codes to a file on my system. It was awesome, I just opened file, copy them and pasted them to the RO. Took a few seconds. Some how we lost that ability. (IT guy says its Snap ons Fault) So now the techs write them all down and bring them to me. And I have to type them all in.

I have been messing around trying to figure out a quick and slick way to do this using the Mitchell system. I went into "jobs" and made up a few to test. But if I have 10 codes, it takes up ten line on the Screen. It is easy this way, however adds lots of clutter.

How do you guys do it?

When I do a diagnosis, I write a narrative of all that I see and do including the codes. This is retyped by the SA.

But do you have a way that the SA can enter them quickly? Like a canned job....

I am shooting for a "menu", if that is a good way to word it. I can make a "Job" and use "notes" then click on the P codes I want, except it takes up a lot of room.

We set up a shared Google Doc with bookmarks and outlines. It contains some specific and general info. You click the outline and copy/paste the write-up, editing for specifc needs.
