TAPI?

Post by heisleytireandbrake »

We had a new phone system installed in our shop. The phone company told us that if we can add TAPI to work with Mitchell Manager that we can simply click on the customer (or vendor) phone number in the Mitchell program and it will automatically dial the customer. How can we add this so it will work with Mitchell

To make that kind of change would require programming code within Manager. I have not heard of this being on the roadmap for considered upgrades, but I'll let a rep from Mitchell1 comment on that.

There is currently a feature that creates a popup upon incoming calls through a third party with additional hardware, but nothing I know with outgoing calls.

Cisco used to offer a Smart Business Portal application that used information in Manager to allow click-to-dial function and the like. However, I don't think this is still available.
