Gasoline/Diesel Fuel handling

Post by DynaBMan »

How do the rest of the users on the forum deal with gasoline or diesel fuel charges? In Arkansas, they are not taxable because it is taxed on the front end. I know how to make the part line non-taxable, but it doesn't show it up as non-taxable in any of the reports, so it is hard for our accountant to bring it out so she can calculate the proper amount of sales tax and have it agree with the report from ShopKey.

Hey Larry,

I'd suggest putting the part into a canned job. Set it up with a unique category and/or account class. Then use the Category Profit Summary report and/or Revenue by GL to easily extract that number.
