Tire Pressures?

Lets say car says 30 psi and all tires are closer to 40 psi what do you do?

Keep in mind that this time of the year that can happen. As ambient temperatures rise, so does pressure in the tires.

We usually let some of the air out till they have the recommended pressure for the car and tire. I know there can be various opinions on this but that is what we do.

We inflate tires according to placard, keeping in mind the tire temperature.

Agreed unless it's a modification then we will use the pressure on the tire unless the customer has the specs. Temp plays a huge issue especially in trucks. Evidence of this litters northern highways during a hot snap. If rubber had a scrap value with all i've seen i'd be a multi millionaire. I had one come apart on a semi while i was passing, that left a mark in my undies...... :lol: :lol: :lol:
