I am not but is on the radar. I compared federated. bumper to bumper, napa and tech net. Seemed Tech Net had the most bang for the buck in my opinion.

My local Carquest salesman recently told me about it and I asked him to get more information for me. I agree, it seems to offer us quite a bit. Will wait and see what they come up with.

We have it. We get a % back from sales. Also you get put on a list. This list is helpful if one of our customers call and say "Hey (say that like Si would) I am broke down in Needham Ma." I get in the list and say "Hey call 781-444-2620, that is Kaiser Automotive they are TechNet certified. Give them a call and see what they can do for you."

I also believe that it may help on the warrenty end. But I am not to hip on that part.

Oh yeah, there/their/they're is a cost involved.

The warranty program is great plus you get identifix and a preferred installer means when someone calls the part store for help locating a shop you get mentioned. It also attaches you to the carquest website so you'll pop up in a search.

So is this program similar to what NAPA has - NAPA Car Care Center type thing?

I don't deal with any NAPA store but it wouldn't shock me. Competition is pretty stiff with he parts suppliers. I have a local Toyota Dealership that allows me access to their tech service if i purchase my parts from them. The same goes for the local Ford and G.M. dealer.
