I am trying to find a way to test the wiper portion of the multifunction switch. I have followed all steps using mitchell 1 and am not able to find a way to test the switch. The wipers park wherever and washers are inoperative.
Before I throw a 200 dollar part on this thing I want to make sure I am correct on diagnostics. Please respond here or email. Thanks

if memory serves me correct, these had issues with the circuit board. usually you can see evidence of burns on it.

Also, I think that the only testing for the switch was an ohms test. This may or may not reveal the problem. I usually also do a voltage test on them when the wiring harness is connected. A wiring schemetic is needed for this.
