2007 GMC Yukon - 5.3L VIN 3 Flex

Post by bobstire8535 »

HAVE A GMC YUKON ORIGINALLY WAS TOWED IN WITH THE FUEL TANK PRESSURE SENSOR BLOWN OUT OF THE TOP OF THE SENDING UNIT.

VEHICLE HAD LOTS OF MILES SO WE PUT IN A GM OE SENDING UNIT IN IT IN AUGUST. VEHICLE CAME BACK TODAY OCT 10 WITH THE SAME EXACT ISSUE. NO DTC'S IN THE COMPUTER, EVERYTHING SEEMS TO BE FINE.

ANY THOUGHTS?

Are there any codes to go with this, I would make sure all your evap equipment is working correctly. Canister, Valves...

NO TROUBE CODES AT ALL EITHER TIME. NO BLOCKAGE IN EVAP OR VENTING LINES.

Any codes? Seems like a EVAP venting problem. Does the customer complain about taking forever to put gas in the tank?

look at the evap hoses. may be kinked or crossed. otherwise i would look into a bad vent valve. it may not blow a code because the pcm is allowing it to vent so it expects it. :?
never argue with a fool, they'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience
