I just replaced the Body Security Module on this truck, and I am not sure if this should just plug and play, or if there is a relearn procedure or something similar. Any ideas??
Thanks,
Ted

Re: 2006 Ford F150 - Module Replacement
It has been my experience that most of this newer stuff needs programed to match the vehicle. I would not say its that way with every one but most of them at least. Usually if I get my modules from the dealer, they do the programing at no charge. I tend to like that arrangement.posttire wrote:I just replaced the Body Security Module on this truck, and I am not sure if this should just plug and play, or if there is a relearn procedure or something similar. for some reason, now i'm not 100% but won't fords read with a certain key function? i remember on older ones if you left the key on for 20 minutes and then off for a time and then back on the gem would read and program.
never argue with a fool, they'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience
