Depending on your scanner, the update rate for live streaming may not be fast enough to catch. I've looked at solenoid activation in the past in an attempt to catch the glitch. The alternative is to scope the wheel sensors and play back the recording.

Does it happen at high speeds only? I've run across times where a front wheel bearing is the culprit. Like Ric said it can be a bear catching it with a scanner especially where it's not setting a code. I find if I raise vehicle, shut off traction control, put it in gear I can feel a bad bearing by putting my hand on the spring. It can be a very minor vibration or even just a slight difference between the front wheels. Good luck

Yea, that was my thought as well. In fact, I have had them already where I had my lab scope connected and located the suspect wheel speed sensor and or bearing that way. It only takes a very slight amount of wear on the wheel bearing to make an intermittant glitch that only a lab scope will pick up on.

Problem occurs on higher speeds on/off ramps. When traveling the recommended posted speed limit for off ramp the vehicle does not exhibit problematic behavior. Customer was notified of our findings, and urged to drive safely.

I wonder if Identifix and or IATN would have any input on this.
