2013 Dodge Ram 1500 Tradesmen Stuck in park

2013 Dodge Ram 1500 Tradesmen Stuck in park When u try to shift out of park it sets a P1B14 code. Try to look it up but not a whole lot to go on. Truck has about 45000 miles. Vin 3C6JR7DG7DG555661 Anything can help.

Park-By-Wire - Unintended Park Position

Probable Causes

Park Hold Solenoid
Park Hold Solenoid Wire Harness or Leadframe
Park Release Solenoid
Transmission Control Module (TCM) - Internal Error
Rich Hays
Work 9-11 or 616-696-0020
Being able to get CAPE off a Skew T chart is important in this hobby.

I would get into the trans module and see if it's getting the signal from the shifter module. These are on the CAN bus. Also check the RF Hub for codes and data. If the trans module is getting the proper shift out of park command, then there's likely an issue internally with the transmission. I assume this is an 8 speed with the rotary knob shifter.

Yes it is a 8 speed with that kind of shiftier.
