Truck cuts out a little bit under acceleration up to about 40mph. The only code was p404 Egr valve. Replaced EGR with OEM valve. Still have same cut out problem. Unplugged the EGR valve so I knew it would not be opening test drove with the same results. That pretty much should eliminate an EGR valve opening prematurely causing the stumble.
Had a graphing scanner hooked up to recording the cut out. The only thing that is out of place when the RPMS drop is the APP2 reading (it drops out everytime the rpm drops during the cut out). However with the vehicle idling app2 still drops out without registering a drop in the RPMs. Techs at Dodge said it sounds like an EGR problem (remember I replaced the EGR already no difference and the original EGR was clean no carbon build up truck has only 59k miles)
