Wiley,

Usually when the wipers are on all the time and there is some other issue that is controlled from the column, it means the communication bus is down to the steering controls module. You'll need a scanner capable of communicating with this module. See if it's on the bus. You may even have codes in it.

before i went any further i would check to see if it's under warranty. you could pass off a head ache and be a hero as well. like ric stated it may be a bus issue and a simple reburn may solve it. you may temporarily resolve it by disconnecting the battery for a while. has the customer complained about radio memory loss?

steven is correct ck for warranty first unless they have an extended warr. this condition would be covered under 3/36 factory warr. it should have a 7/70 power train only. if its not covered i would ck. the connection at the multifunction switch first, ive had a few where the locking tab from the factory wasnt latched down all the way and after some time it would work its way loose if this is the case you need to also ck for signs of acring or term/pin damage. let us know how it goes 8) 8) 8)

We ran into one of these problems with a Kia. Wound up being the etac (time control) module. Have no idea if the chry is simular but the symptom was identical.

after rereading your post i see you did ck all the connections. you can go into the steering column module and monitor the wiper switch circut. 8) 8) 8)

since the mf switch is probably available thru your vendors I would have one sent down and plug it in. It could save a lot of diag time
