Manager SE - Improved Plate-2-VIN Service

This week Mitchell 1 changed their Plate to VIN service to a new provider and the changeover was seamless to users.

This new service offers several advantages:

1. It is faster to use.
2. It will now fully decode plates that were only partially decoded by the old service.

This means uses in PA, MA, NY and a few other states now will get the entire VIN displayed.

Do We Know If or When Plate Decoding May Come To Canada? Thanks

As I'm sure you're aware, there are some hoops to jump through in Canada that do not exist in the states. I hope to have something to add on this question soon.

I think it's noteworthy that the service MyCarFax can do Canada and U.S. plate-to-VIN lookup and they do it for free for personal use. Also while we're on the topic of Canada features, how about that text messaging system MessageCenter?
