You will eventually receive the update via the automatic updater. However, that could be several weeks from now, as we always meter the release. Therefore, the download link is there for those that don't want to wait.

Ultimately, yes it will be sent auto magically to your system and you will prompted to install.

I have also heard that if you run your mouse over the UPC code of a can of Doctor Pepper it will down load.

I hope you continue to do it this way. Up until this update I still had .54. I am one of the last ones to receive updates and it can be frustrating at times. I was running into 2015 that wasn't in the data base. I realize someone is going to be first and someone is going to be last. I like this route allowing us to download it manually.

Agreed! It's especially nice if some folks are experiencing issues with their software that an update will fix. The ones having the issue can go ahead and download the update, where others who aren't experiencing issues can just let the automatic updater do its thing.

...BTW, these updates to the software are awesome. Love the last 8 of the VIN being spaced and colored, love seeing the 'deposit' and 'inv. balance' on the RO screen, love renaming the revisions. Definitely the best update so far. Way to go Mitchell team

where should we post our "wants and needs" for 6.6.8? :D

Like this new awesome re-nameable revision tab, I would LOVE if we could right click and maybe have a drop down box. Like canned jobs. We could enter things like "LOF, FBJ, RBJ, T-belt".

Thanks to the info. I really like that you give us the option to update earlier if we choose!!! & like that it will automatically update for those that want to wait for that....

I agree--- we seriously need a like button in the Forum.... Could you work on that in your spare time??? :D

Got the update up and running, haven't had a chance to use it much yet.

If you get a Like Button might as well get a Dislike one as well....hahahaha :lol: :lol: :lol:

Email History Invoice: Re: Manager SE v 6.6.8

Did you know that in Manager SE, if you go to the history screen, and open a historical invoice, then select File (at the top left), then Email, the software will examine that customer, if there is an email address on file, the Invoice from History will be packaged up into a PDF file and sent to your email client to ultimately send to the customer? If there is no email address, the system will prompt you for an email address, use that, send the email, and save the email to the customer record.

Help. I am upgrading from 6.5.54 to 6.6.8. Server upgraded fine...workstations do not see server.

It may take a while before the workstations actually see the update. You can manually update the workstations by running the setup link on each, instead of waiting for the host.

I'll try to help...no support today.

You say the workstations do not see the server. How did you determine this? What exact error are you getting?

I'm not in front of the machine right now.

I ran the link on the work station. It ran good. I tried to open SE, it had a mismatch error, the next screen said server not found reboot. I did, same error.

Make sure the update took on the host machine. Verify 6.6.8 there first.
