8.5.2 Beta Volunteers

Post by Silky7 »

Hi All,

We're putting what we hope are the finishing touches on a release candidate in the next couple of days. Besides ShopManTim (thanks!), do we have any volunteers to beta test this release to ensure the WIP reset issue is resolved?

Here are the rest of the pending changes:

I'll do it. We are one having a reset issue on both our computers. Very random and can go a while without it happening.

Thanks for the efforts going into this dev work. I am sure it is no easy task.
We would be pleased to be added to the beta test group. Thanks !

Thanks, all of you have been added (some should have seen the update by now).

We have enough participants for this round.

Goodmorning Silky7 !

There have been multiple great improvements on this last update!
I especially like the PO enhancements on item quantity staying the same and also the ability to reopen a closed PO.....

We have had one instance since the update of user settings being lost since the update. (this happened on the host machine and involved only the font / colors on the WIP and Order windows, but did not skew the WIP grid layout that i could tell)
We also had one time on the host machine where the WIP screen was blank (as in polar bear in snowstorm) with a big red X across the entire window.

Hopefully this helps and please feel free to reach out for more info if interested.

Thanks for the feedback, Daniel.

I understand Support reached out to you for some diagnostic information. We're working to identify the cause of the "red x" on the WIP. It's rarer than the reset we just chased though, so please feel free to share any pattern/observances if you see it again.
