Hello. Have a 2002 Infinity QX4 3.5L. Need to replace the two gaskets at the water outlet/ coolant crossover pipe. Found labour for the water outlet but that only gets you to the water outlet to replace the thermostat. Im needing to replace the two gaskets that go to the head. Wondering if anyone else has done this job before and what kind of labour (hours) did you end up charging for it?

Found it listed in Mitchell, coolant passage manifold, 2.8 hrs for replacement.

Thank you for your reply. I have figured out already its longer than 5 hours of labour... Ill post the final result once we complete the job

I came up with 4.3 but on a vehicle over 10 years old on occasion I may add a few 10th's.

Well the final time to do this job was 10.5 hours. He was told by the dealership the engine would have to be removed in order to access the water outlet pipe/ coolant crossover pipe but luckily we got the job done without having to do so.
