2002 Nissan Frontier - Rear Main Seal Time

This guy has this 02 Nissan Frontier, V6 engine Automatic Trans and it has a rear main oil seal leak. he wants an estimate.

The issue I am having is that the engine has to come out to do the job and in M1 Estimator it allows 6.2 hrs for the rear main seal replacement even though under engine R&R it says 7.5 hrs. Under rear main seal time it says includes engine R&R time. I am confused. What time should I allow for? I have not done one of these yet and need a fairly close time estimate. And, does the pan have to come off?

Also, is there any other gaskets/parts I will need for this job?

I took a jab on model and such. I see in 9.0 hours to do job. It shows a rear main retainer holding the seal in. I am thinking you need to R&R transmission to do it. But the labor guide says nothing about R&R engine or Transmission. Not a lot of help sorry.
