#5 cylinder will not fire. I installed a new injector, plug , wire. Has injector pulse, good spark and 100 pounds of compression

Minimum compression should be 142 psi. Good compression should be 178 psi.

do a leakdown test. 100lbs just isn't enough. now there is a outside chance (way outside) cam may be worn. how many miles? it sounds like one of the exhaust valves are bad otherwise it could be popping through the intake. now i'm really kinda old school and i would run top end solvent through the intake while reving the engine just in case there is carbon on the valve. i know it's rattles and chants but on occasion witch dr's are right.  if the head has to come off, in my shop we only replace in pairs. i've had too many unbalanced idle issues when we've installed just one. as usual i suggest alabama cylinder head.

What is the compression compared to the other cylinders? I like to compare all together.
