ran into it a few times. the older ones it was usually the rpm reader in the compressor and looked for it in the newer ones. buddy of mine works at a dealer and he told me to replace the relay and it worked.

ahh... the old experiance thing. Tnx... will keep it in the memory banks.
Speaking of old. I walked by a tech today who had his head up under the dash of a 94 olds supream. Asked him what was up and he said Diagnosing the ABS. I told him replace the bulbs in the 3rd brake light and he looked at me like i had just grown another head. You guessed it... young kid. I wanted to let him figure it out but we were cranking and I just said shut up and do it. I left him muttering under his breath and 10 minutes later as he was backing the car out
he wouldn't look at me. Heh... age is not always a bad thing.

Is this a manual or automatic AC system? I found some flow charts for flashing AC button. Relating to the compressor and the amplifier. Do you have communication to the amplifier? You'll need that for testing.
