1991 Toyota PU - V6 5 Spd 4x4; 2 Issues Related? Clutch

Post by fortknoxx »

clutch, pp, master and slave replaced 1 yr ago.

1. fluid leaks out of master cap/ vent hole when in reverse

2. clutch pedal stays on the floor when in reverse and backed up , and sometimes in 1st

customer has to get out of truck and pull pedal back up (no i did not ask why he just doesn't use his foot to lift it up)

* he did not use toyota parts

Agreed, oem parts. It sounds like hydraulic issue. Have you tried bleeding?

I pressure bleed these hooking up a hose to the bleeder pushing the fluid up through. I find it much easier and use way less fluid.
