Yellow Highlights after update to 9.1.0.3357

Post by cardoc »

So updated. Now we have yellow around all tech fields. Cool! However we do not select the techs for parts only labor lines at my shop. So can the yellow around the parts be shut off and only allowed around the labor fields??
If no, then is there a way to multi select the techs to make it faster than multi click each line item to add techs. We used to be able to fill one tech field in and then select through and the system would add the tech automatically. Help please. Thank You! Alan

Hi Alan,

Since you don't ever actually use the Parts technician, squaring this should be easy. Under Setup > Shop Data > Default Settings, set the default Part technician to the Please, Select value. If you no longer have that, create a dummy technician entry - call it whatever you want - but don't set it with any hours/wages/commission. Once that is your default, all new orders will start with that pre-filled.

For your open orders, simply go to Options > and set the Parts technician to the same Please, Select/dummy value.
