PO Button

Post by Crescentbunny »

Hello again! I feel like I really shouldn't be in here asking things again since I JUST had a thread last week but, our host computer suddenly this morning has a PO Button! I figured updater must have ran last night, however none of the work stations have the button. We are using Manager SE. Both the host and the workstations show the same version number so its a bit strange. I'd like to have the button on my workstation since I receive all the parts. It looks great though on the host, its going to be such a handy little thing. :) Anyway the question is do we need to wait for updates for workstations too to recieve the PO System or did something go wrong on my end? Thanks for your help in advance!

This is a new feature and likely is a step towards consolidating users to one platform that includes inventory. If I recall you are not using inventory, but a parts list? This step might only include the button on the host, but I can't say for sure; just speculating. Tim can shed more light on that one when he sees this.....

That's what I thought too, but they all show the same version number as the host. Hmm.

Tim is travelling today to the Nashville workshop as am I. You should have the PO button on each workstation. If you can, give tech support a call.

I DO NOT have inventory module. I DO get a po button when I shut down and reboot after a back up. I just close and reopen Mitchell and it goes away.

I only got the inventory in the sport the parts list was in. It happened after my last update and is on all computers. My version is 6.5.45

Not a problem :) I was just thinking something might be wrong with my workstations since they didn't have the button but the host did.

I DO NOT have inventory module. However when I close Mitchell to do backups at night and re-boot I get the PO button along with the Devcor in the lower right where the version should be. I close and re-open Mitchell and it goes away. Still on 6.5.42

The next update for everyone will square this away. Jeff, if you received 6.5.42 via the updater, you should have another update soon to fix this.
