Mitchell Outage 4/15/2016

Post by nickscarcare »

Trying to look up fluids this morning on host pc, script error keeps popping up then says no internet connection, but I can use the internet just fine. Is this a programming error?

We've been getting the same error message when going into Estimator. It had been working fine all morning up till about 10:30 est and it hasn't worked since.

Fluid look up is ok, but going to prodemand is slow, does not save log in, have to relog in every time.

Folks, I was alerted a few minutes ago that we are experiencing a server issue.

We apologize for the inconvenience and I will post any further details as soon as I get them.

FIXED!

"As some of you already know we had a product outage this morning. It began about 7:16am PDT. The root cause appears to be major ISP outages which are outside M1’s control. ProDemand is now functional and the rest of the product services are in various stages of recovery. This outage is also affecting phone lines and anything else relying on internet. Regardless of whether our products are commercially available, customers in affected areas who use Cox or Time Warner Cable internet connections will still be affected (to get to Mitchell1 or other internet sites)."

I just saw a map (looked like thermal imaging) that showed the hotspots (ISP trouble) in various parts of the country.

We are confident that all systems including SureTrack are working normally; may be some lingering ISP issues depending on where you are located.

While none of Florida is shown on the trouble map, you could still be routing through some of it along the way.
