How Are Updates To Manager 7.0 Handled?

Post by scgms1 »

I'm currently running Manager 6.6.12 and it appears like 7.X has been out for almost a year. How are updates processed from 6.X to 7.X? Do I even want to get 7.X? Is there a list of 'improvements' for 7.X? One of the reasons I ask is the shop next door recently signed up and he's running 7.X.

Thanks!

7.0 may require hardware upgrade, that is why we don't send it automatically. 7.x will not run on XP or Vista. windows 7, 8.1 and 10 are all good. I have attached a listing of enhancement to 7.

Hi Johnny5,

I'll make an assumption that anything made, bought in recent history running Win7, 8.1, 10 will do fine? Is there a link to minimum specs? I built this PC at the beginning of the year. Do I talk to my rep, call Mitchell, or is there a link to a download?

[PC specs screen grab removed for size]

Thanks,

Johnny,

Did you ever get my PM? The reason I'm asking is it's 4 1/2 months later and I'm still on 6.6.12.

Apologies for delay; John is out for personal business at this time. I believe I was able to get your account # figured out and will confirm this with you privately and then we'll get this submitted to the SE 7.x group today. Then the update will come knocking on your door.

This can be added from the SE home "splash screen" and the file is updated with every release: C:\Program Files (x86)\M1-SK\Teamworks\Manager\Background\help.htm

Correct. What version do you have now? I have to copy it off another machine.

Yes, if you understand the 7.x Scheduler differences, you may do this now.
