Possible To Tax A Sublet?

Post by TurboTim »

We put our Tows under Sublet and is it possible for those to be taxed? or how are other people doing that?

I do not know your state laws but you might check on taxing labor

We are getting audited and when my wife talked to them that is one thing they mentioned we possibly should be doing. Labor is not taxed in MN where I am located.

A service in MN is taxable, for example towing. General labor is not. I have it set up under sublet also as a canned job, I go to the tax button and tax labor, but I am having a problem with it applying when transfered. I have to go back into it when it is on the work order and go to tax again and hit taxable again to get it to hold. I just chock it up to another issue with manager that does not get fixed. I had a cust service call from them yesterday, we will see if they call back, they were trying to sell me Mitchell, get it like once a month and I keep telling them we already have it. Curious to see if there is a fix.
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me, I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.

I have added a request for development to estimate and include an option to allow the user to set an alternate [labor] tax to a Sublet Item that is included in a canned job.
