New Main PC - Can't Get Others To Find Database FIXED

Installed Mitchell on new computer with the host. It actually went very smoothly....until I tried to get the other computers to find the host database.

I will put a call into tech support Monday morning, but wondering if anyone else has had that problem. I knew way back we had to map the drive....but with the new SQL we don't need to do that. Do I need to share the file location? I looked at the set up on the old computer I am replacing and I do not see that I had the folders shared.

The new computer is Windows 10 Pro.....all the others are Windows 10 Home - is that an issue?

Also, I can ping the new computer from the other computers by computer name & by IP address.....so it is reachable and shareable on the network.......

Tech support to the rescue. Something didn't set quite right on the install - tech support just had to rerun an installer & back in business!
The new computer with the SSD hard drive is awesome!

It's hard to beat a SSD drive. None of the computers at work have them yet but all mine at home do. I will not buy one without SSD from this point on.

I updated all my computer to SSD also. I wouldn't ever go back. They are so much faster. I ever installed an SSD into my Snap-On Versus and it is much much faster on booting. It used to take 3.5 minutes to fully boot. Now it tale 1 minute 15 seconds.
