Nightly Back Up of Mitchell Program

Post by katie042 »

We have been having trouble backing up at night. We have the largest GB. It will save and get to 100% and then it states "cannot back up". Do you have any suggestions. Thank you

Are we talking about a local backup to a thumb drive? If so...

Make sure you have the correct path set in Manager. Sometimes drive letters change.
Make sure you have enough space available on the thumb drive.

Hi Ric, you mean the drive letters change within the software or in general? Could this be a cause for failed backups?

Honestly, I've seen both. I've had the designated path drive letter in the software change without user input and I've seen the computer assigned drive letter for a thumb drive change. If they don't match, you'll go through the first progress bar then fail at the second.
