Missing last open Work Orders

Post by jjoldtwn »

Since updating to 7.5 we no longer have access to the last 10 open work orders when go to the file menu at the top left of the screen. We use this often since we are bouncing in and out of several orders at a time. Is there a way to turn this on or add it back in?

I believe that feature has been removed.

My boss also complained about this.

Yes, the Most Recently Used (MRU) file list was removed intentionally. It was possible in multi-user environments to cause highly undesirable behavior in previous versions when using the MRU. We do intend to return the feature — but not until we have the time to implement it correctly for sharing and refreshing from multiple stations.

Not seeing it. Perhaps since it's been gone for awhile that I don't remember how to bring it back up? Is it from the File Menu? Is there a switch to enable/disable?

No switch. From the File menu, the first selection is 'Recent Orders'. It's a submenu under that.

I suppose one should look a little harder before submitting. I found the fly-out just prior to reading your append. Sorry for my error.

Easily overlooked as it used to drop straight down. I did a double take when I first updated; hadn't realized how much I used that feature until it was gone. LOL
