Manufacture date
I have noticed this a few times and keep forgetting to reach out on it. I see it shows up wrong on the tech sheet even when put in correctly. Ideas?

Re: Manufacture date
Hi Brian,
Is this consistently happening? Or only periodically? Also, which tech worksheet are you using?

Re: Manufacture date
I just looked through a few and it is definitely not consistent.

Re: Manufacture date
Brian,
I've been through every combination on manufacturer date I can think of, and can't replicate this one the worksheet. I'd recommend checking to see if the issue is occurring when the date is entered on a particular workstation. Of course, you can also contact support to verify date, time and regional settings are correct on each machine.
Additionally, if you start to discern any pattern, you can always update this thread as well.

Hmm...
Do you start New Vehicles each time, or do you sometimes overwrite an existing vehicle with new data? Just trying to find any key to the root issue.

Re: Manufacture date
I am not sure what you mean by that. This vehicle was added 1/2015 and that production date was added at that time. I do not look at a lot of tech sheets I just happened to look at this one when working on it to get an idea of the hose life and noticed it.
Re: Manufacture date
Oh, just let's say a customer had a 2010 F-150, and they come in with a 2015 Silverado now and say they sold the Ford. Do you ever just change the vehicle information from the Ford to the Chevy, or start a new vehicle and enter the Chevy data?
Essentially I'm wondering if the Man. date is getting corrupted somehow.

Re: Manufacture date
I would start a new vehicle. If the plate was the same I would delete it from the old vehicle and mark the old vehicle to not receive crm. Then I would add the new vehicle decoding the vin and then adding the plate. Not saying 100% that is what I did as it was 5 years ago but that is what I try to do every time.
