Appointment Reminders Suggestion

Post by ricmorin »

I love the appointment reminders in CRM, especially the Confirm/Reschedule buttons. One thing that was brought to my attention was the fact that NO vehicle data is included in the email. Most households have more than one vehicle and currently they don't know which vehicle has the appointment. I spoke to my CRM agent about this and he tells me it's a limitation with the data fields in the Scheduler. Perhaps as a first step in beefing up the Scheduler, we could add a vehicle field. There's plenty of column room for it. Then there would be vehicle info available for CRM to add to the emails. :o

Hello,
Our ProPack software can alleviate some of the vehicle reminder confusion. A vehicle can be selected by following these steps:

1. The [Vehicle] merge tag in Message Pro will merge the Year Make Model when the following conditions are met:
a. It must be an auto appointment reminder text message (manual text messages do not merge since they revolve around a phone number and phone numbers do not have a vehicle related to them)
b. The auto appointment reminder text message must have been created by Lube Sticker Pro automation. (Manually scheduled appointments do not have a vehicle related to them. Lube Sticker Pro creates the Appointment-Vehicle relationship)
2. One workstation must be designated as the Auto Send/Receive computer. This workstation will check for new messages every 30 seconds while messaging activity is present. Occasionally text messages will sit in a queue on the carriers' platforms, but this typically is not more than 15 minutes. Additional investigation can be done via a remote support session if needed at http://boltontechnology.com/support.html

Hope this helps.

I would prefer a repair to the software I am already paying for that applies to ALL appointments, not just the auto-generated ones.

^^^^^^ I third the notion. It is already a part of the software we are using. Not a "new enhancement"
