CRM info?

Post by Rich »

The CRM idea is getting pretty thick around here! They are calling us tomorrow to show it to us.....again. There are days around here I am up to my eyes in work and don't have the time to update the customer info like it should be done. I made up a sheet, just to hand the customer and ask them to fill in the blanks so to speak. Typical things, name, spouse name, address, updated numbers, cars owned. Also added a "would you like to be emailed/texted in the future" kind of question. So as I get a moment I can update them.

So if you're using CRM is there something I should add to this now. Just so later I don't have one of those "had I known that now I would have done this earlier" moments. We know very little about CRM (other than the basics). Things like, if the customer does have a AAA membership, is this something that is important to know for CRM??

Just want to be ahead of the game.

Thanks

For CRM, all you really need is a customer, a vehicle and an email.

For gathering data, take a look at Bolt-On's Welcome Kiosk. Very cool....

Ok, so I know i don't suppose to do this but......I hate to keep adding items to the forum. I feel like i did the day we got Mitchell!

We have CRM now. Like got it two days ago. So I run a report to see how many customers we have. Not smart enough to do that...but we do have 3233 pages in the report I ran.

So the million dollar question. Every one of these people are marked by default to be included in the CRM experiment. Can tech support hack my system, make all of the customers we have now NOT included at this time? Then I will go and check the ones we want in it?? We are a collage town, most of this customers are here a few times and are gone.

Rich,

This is really not necessary if you have just the email CRM and no post cards. You'll only include the ones with an email address anyway.

Yes, that would work great.

Once you make the changes, the new data will be uploaded that night. The server should stay on all night.

Should be the same as you use to log in to ProDemand.
