New Vehicle Not Defaulted To CRM Campaign?

Post by carcare »

On a existing customer when they bring in a new car we have to go to vehicle screen and check the box for include this vehicle in crm is this the way this is suppose to work I would think it would select it as a default and you would have to un select if you don't want follow up on that vehicle this is on every new vehicle entered

I don't think that is how it should work. I did a quote for a dealer yesterday. I open the "Customer" tab and the box "include in CRM campaign" is checked. I opened the truck I entered yesterday and "include this vehicle in the CRM campaign" box it checked by default.

Are you sure that the box in the "customer" tab is marked?

I got this from CRM product management:

"I have not been able to duplicate any scenario where the vehicle checkbox “Include this vehicle in CRM campaign” is not checked by default. I’m using version 7.0.2

Existing customer + new vehicle
New customer + new vehicle
Existing customer + new vehicle + previous vehicle created unchecked
New customer + new vehicle + previous vehicle created unchecked
Existing customer + Customer screen checkbox unchecked + new vehicle
New customer + Customer screen checkbox unchecked + new vehicle

I believe you should reference this behavior with tech support.

I am still on 6.6.8.

I did new customer/new car, old customer/new car and had no issues.

We found out that this is only happens when new vehicle is entered using Mobile Manager we called Bolt On and they are working on a fix for this so if you have Mobile Manager make sure the box is getting selected under vehicle tab for follow up with Mitchell CRM
