Ownerautosite.com - Change Of email/login

Post by JCADan »

I have a few customers who have called us asking how to change their login email address for OwnerAutoSite.com; I"ve also logged in and cannot find where to change the email address.

Where/How can this be done? thanks.

I concur that there is no obvious place to change this on the site. Right now you need to contact your CRM rep who will send in a request. The new email will be inputed and your customer will get a new login code. Kinda like starting all over again. That's how it works right now. There are plans to make that easier in the future.

Unfortunately contacting the CRM Support Rep is the only way to make an email change for now. The email is used as the unique identifier for the customer.

In addition to that I would like to know about new customers accessablity to owner auto site, to my understanding at this point a new customer looking for a repair shop can not log into or make a appointment to the site in it's present form. I would like to know if this will change in the near future?

Hi Dennis,

We do have a plan to create shop landing pages sometime this year that will give key shop information. A consumer/non-customer could request an appointment from the shop from these pages. We're not certain how it will integrate with Ownerautosite.com yet.

Regards,
Brian
