Inventory Report By P/N To Check QOH?

Post by alloutrepair »

Is there a report that I can run by part number to see the inventory transactions that have been posted?
My inventory balances are incorrect, and I am trying to find out why...

There are several possibilities, depending on the detail level you require.

Under Inventory:
Inventory Part Sales Detail (with date range selector)

Under Management tab:
Part # Search report - enter a part # and/or description (full or partial) and it returns customers, vehicles, INV#, dates where the selected part number was sold.

Do any of these show when the parts were received/ purchased and adjustments that have been entered?
I am looking for a complete transaction details to see what it is that is being recorded in Mitchell and why it is not balancing to QuickBooks and my records.

No single report can show all of that; here's a possible sequence:

1. PO Order/Receipt phase
* PO screen - Search POs by Part #
* Closed POs Report

2. Adjustments
* Inventory Returns
* Manual Quantity Adjustment by Part No.

3. Sales of Part on Invoice
* two methods previously described
