I have several canned items I use with non standard labor rates. Items like tire balancing - I put in the amount and Mitchell figures the time based on the amount. Sometimes I have items that I have to set aside time for - such as diagnostics - where I set aside a half an hour time, I zero out the charge, check the non standard labor rate and re-enter .5 hours in the labor field. I have to enter a labor time so the schedule can account for the time, and my tech gets paid for the time.
Everything looks perfect on the screen, but when I print it out - all hell breaks loose.
Labor items with the time allotted (i.e. 0.5 hours) but charge zeroed out, show the labor charge for the time, not what was entered on the labor charge (i.e. $0.00)
Labor items with the time calculated based on the charge, print out with the calculated labor time multiplied by the labor rate - and this is often higher than the charge should be.
The kicker? Labor totals on the bottom are what they are supposed to be. If you add up the labor line items on the print out, they do not equal what the actual labor charge is.
This has cost me several hours on the phone trying to explain what is going on, and having the customer calculate the totals on their own. This is a crazy bug that should be rectified ASAP
Any plan on resolution at this point?
Thank you
Bruce

Bruce,
I'm not able to replicate this. A couple of questions: 1. What version number does it show in the bottom right corner for your Manager program? 2. Are these true estimates, or the estimate as printed from the Revisions (sub-estimate) area?
