Dates On Invoices?

There used to be date vehicle brought into the shop and the date work completed printed on the invoice. Not there anymore. Need this in NY to comply with DMV regulations.

The fields you're referring to have probably moved location, but should still exist on your Invoice template. Look below the Payments area.

We noticed this as well. After an update, not sure which one, the forms had changed and we had to "hunt" around for an acceptable form for printing invoices. While we may have missed it, it would be EXTREMELY helpful if there were release notes documenting all changes from update to update, even if they are minor. In this case, we stumbled upon the change to the forms.

There ARE release notes for nearly every update. On your splash screen, you can click here and view them.

With that being said, I'm not sure on the level of detail provided here. I'll leave that for the representatives to comment.

While we do try to list all of the changes per release, some are bound to get missed. Since this was neither an add or delete from the template, but rather a MOVE of this information, it may not have been deemed a change to note.

The larger question here is the visibility of the 'What's New In This Release'; we could have mentioned the invoice change in it and yet still be having this same conversation. I'm making a note to find additional ways to make this information visible to our users.

Thanks to those that pointed this out. You get used to something and when it's not in the same spot you jump to conclusions.
