Restore Original Invoice Date?

When We Print From History The Date Now Shows Current Date instead For Original Date. Now I See The Original In Very Small Print At Bottom Of Page. This Causes A Problem For Vendor Warranty. We Give A Copy with Warranty Claims And All They See Is Current Date. I Would Like to See The Original Date Back At Top Like Was Before.

Good news - this is fixed in the next update. You can have a patch now at this link: http://www.m1faqs.com/fix/SE/Inv-Mar2017.exe
It only needs to be run on SE workstations where the invoices are viewed or printed. (will be installed on all PCs when you update several weeks from now)
1. Close Manager SE on the PC to run the patch above
2. Click on this link for patch; select Run instead of Save (only takes a few seconds)
3. Answer YES / ALLOW to Windows security warnings
4. When it says it was successful, close the patch dialog box.
5. Re-start Manager SE and you will have the updated Invoice template on that PC

On a slightly different topic, what triggers the start date? In New York the DMV requires the date the vehicle arrives at the shop and the date the work is completed. Most of the time these are the same but not always. It seems like every invoice we print the dates are always the same.

The Date/Time In field is populated either by 1) the event of marking the R.O. as printed manually OR 2) automatically when converting an Estimate to an R.O. when the Shop Data -> ScreenView tab -> Mark All ROs Approved/Printed option box is checked.
