Best Way To View Completed Orders?

Post by nutechautorepair »

I am having some issue with viewing or even finding completed work orders that has been close. What is best way to view Completed Orders that,s been closed. Also when review the work order how can I see parts and labor and whats has been done on it. I find it very difficult to do something this simple. :( All I can see is time they come in and mileage. To see what service they have done I have to open each one. And even with Show Categories it does not show much.

Reports-Accounting-Posted order Detail sound like what you may be looking for. It is date rangeable and you can click on the lines to see part and labor detail. What are you looking for in particular?

Instructions on all menu items available by hitting the big "How to" button. See http://managerhelp.buymitchell1.net/Findhistryrec.htm

When you say 'what's being replaced on a work order", are you looking for what parts you need on open orders?

If I understand your question(s), it's as simple as hitting the Print button on the History screen. This will display a summary with parts/labor detail for all of the invoices for that customer/vehicle, if that's what you want to see. You can browse and skip pages too.

Sample what I am looking for. In my old Winworks I open history and I can view when I did a brake job , starter motor , AC work. I CAN SEE ALL OF THAT without open each RO and see what is DONE!!!!

How can I do the same on this SO ADVANCE SOFTWARE~???????

I suggest you go to a workshop if you are struggling to find the ways to work through in the help area.

When You Go To History, Click The Categories Button on upper Right Side. There You Will See Brakes, Electrical, or Other Categories You Listed These Orders Under.

Manager's History tab doesn't break down parts and labor as items but rather groups then into Invoices. That is a fundamental difference between those two programs but a lot of good advice has been given for you to view something similar. If you have a need for Bolt On's Mobile Manager Pro, the History tab on that device DOES break down history work into line items. I have to admit I like this view from a mobile standpoint.
