Thank You Card Labels: Dymo LabelWriter 450

Post by motley06 »

Question: I send thank you cards to customers after they visit our shop. I use the Dymo LabelWriter 450 to print the address labels. Does anyone know how to streamline this from Mitchell using a report instead of my typing out each one?

Answer: From reports, Followup tab, select Thank You, then History tab, set your date range, Search, Print, Print labels option, choose export as .csv file. Open Dymo label, Edit, smart paste from file, choose your csv file from Manager SE, and let her rip.
Hopefully this helps others.

You can also print directly to sheet fed labels without all the exporting. Choose a format and print....

I've always wondered what you do when you only have 10 labels to print. What do you do with the rest? Do you just use it next time and shift everything down in the template?

Kinda. I save the partials and flip them upside down and reuse them when I have a partial sheet needed. Usually can get them down to only one or two wasted.

Hmmmm. I'll have to see if this method will work with the dymo printer too. Thanks

You will have to get 8x11.5 label sheets and print them out on a regular black and white printer. I do it all the time. The Dymo printer is too small. You will be able to do hundreds in minutes.
