Remove Revisons from RO

Post by Kensmuffler »

At the bottom of a printed invoice in very fine print, are revisions with prices attached to them. How do I get rid of that?

Simply choose a different invoice template that includes the term 'no rev data' in the Print Setup window.

I've been asking for this for years. What I want is no hours, with part #'s without revision. The only option I see that has that is FL. Not sure what's different with the FL invoice.

I believe the Florida invoice has some wording specific to that state's laws. Try it on for size.It may work for you.

It would be nice to have a INV with no rev/hours, but with parts.
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me, I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.

Out of curiosity, why don't you want revisions in there? I've always thought that this was good documentation of the original estimate and how it morphed to the final bill. I would never remove this valuable resource. Asking for a friend.......

For me it is times when we are doing an estimate, and if there is an order already, then every little thing you do on the revision shows up down there and it looks all cluttered and unprofessional. Again this is times when maybe a customer comes in for something and after it is here, we find more, or they decide to do more. Have options for just about everything else, why can't there be one for this?

Interesting.

One thing you can do right now to keep those revisions from showing is to not use that feature. Simply copy and paste the new detail into the order, unless you still want the documentation. Would you be more inclined to keep the revision data there if it were 'cleaner' or neater that it is now?

It would be nice if it was cleaned up. If it only took from when you were done with the revision, when you transfer it would be nice so it would just be a one time note, not for everything you ad to that revision.
