Total by Part Number

Post by shannfamauto »

Is there a report that shows the total amount used of a specific part number that is not an inventoried part? For example, how many ACT976 brake pads have I used YTD? The Part Number Search is not the report I am looking for. World Pac is my primary vendor and they don't have a report showing what I need.

Sadly, I believe the answer is NO. I tried to do that with oil filters, the answer I get is only if you add them all to inventory. Our inventory is a challenge to begin with. I won't add every non-stocking part to inventory just to see a sales report.

I end up doing one of two things, search all closed PO's for the part number and manually count them.

Or I call the store and have them run a report, in my case CarQuest line code RFI.

This is one of the reasons why I inventory EVERY part I buy. I have that information.

Seems like a simple report. I figured I must be missing something. Sounds like I will do it long hand

There is one report called Non Stock Parts Purchased but it's very limited. The report is blank for me since I have no non-stocked parts, but take a look.
