Report of Canned Job

Post by ShopManTim »

Pardon my ignorance folks. I have a canned job that I use quite frequently and would like to get a report of its usage ever since I began using it. When I go into Reports and Canned Jobs, it gives me the message that this report is only available in "Canned Jobs In Quick Menu. So, I go to that and it gives me nothing but the list of canned jobs.

So, my question is: How do I create a report of this particular canned job, and list it in chronological order with a total income figure @ the end of the report?

Not sure this will help but....

Reports, Management, Canned Job usage.. It shows them there. Of course be sure to select the correct dates.

Well.....I see that that report only shows you how many times you have used it, not the other detailed information you wanted.

Yea, that is where I was at and does not provide me with what I am wanting. Thanks for looking though. Maybe someone else will chime in.

I don't see a report with that level of detail. I also looked through reports contained in the ProPack add-on and did not see anything that meets your needs there either. Still looking.....

We don't have a CJ report that has it all in one place; if you're looking for the dollar value of the total sales within a date range, this can be accomplished by getting the units from the Canned Jobs Usage report and multiplying the sell price listed in the Canned Jobs report (list). I understand this is an extra step but it would answer the one-off question for now.

That being the case, would there be another way I could setup an item we use often and get a report on it? In the instant case, it would be strictly a labor item.
