Email Programs We Can Use?

Post by kootenay »

Hi Folks,

I have been using Outlook to email customer invoices. I have tried using Windows Mail after setting the default email program to Windows Mail, but it doesn't work. Can someone tell me if it is possible to send customer emails using a non pc based email program?

Thanks, Jeremy

Hi Jeremy,

What we support are indeed email clients. We don't test for/support web email. With that said, our recommended (and free) email client is Mozilla's Thunderbird. Outlook tends to work fine as well.

Just want to add to this one. I've played around for quite awhile with Outlook365 and was unable to get it working with Shop Management. Just install Thunderbird and be done with it.

Okay thanks for that. I'm using Outlook with no issues with Mitchell, but good lord what a mess otherwise. Thunderbird is also a great program from what I've seen.
