Printing Notes On Revisions?
We are using SE 6.4.544. We are trying to print a note that is on a revision/estimate. We have the box checked that says to print the note.. but that says print on order. We do not want to convert this estimate to an order. We want to leave it in revision. We are doing this estimate so the customer can go get money to do the repair, so we are not sure we are going to get the work. Our problem is that the note we want on the estimate does not print when the estimate is printed. Is there a setting that we are missing? Please help.

I have the same issue quite often. On revisions the notes will not print.

I'd suggest putting your note into a labor operation so it will print for now. That takes care of the immediate problem.

That is what we did. But then we had to delete the estimate afterwards, because we are unsure if we are going to get the job. So notes do not show up on printed subestimates & revisions?

Are you saying that it is being fixed with the new update? If so, we do not have that yet. Is the update coming on a Disc or is it online?

I hadn't really noticed the specific issue, the 6.4e update is delivered on a DVD installation disc. These have just been replicated and will start shipping next week.
To not overwhelm technical support, we stagger the shipments over a few weeks until all users have them.
